Emergency and disaster notification

In high risk weather, some methods of notification may not work as well as intended.

Our safety team would like to share some of the methods we use to stay up to date on emergency and disaster information.

This page contains information about places that can be used to shelter from a bushfire:

This contains a list or map of current warnings and incidents and any relevant information:

This displays the current bushfire ratings and fire ban information for South Australia:

• ABC & 5AA Radio – Emergency Notification Broadcasts and updates
  • ABC – 891AM
  • 5AA  – 1395AM

• CFS Warnings Notification Emails

If you would like to receive updates and warnings via email you can subscribe to the CFS to receive the notifications.

Scroll down to the ‘Subscribe to CFS Emails’ section and click the ‘email us to subscribe’ link. This will open an email in outlook then hit send and your email address will be registered.
