    Special Information Day for Home Support Workers

    On Saturday 3 March, Resthaven is holding a special ‘information and interview day’ for potential Home Support Workers at our Head Office at 6 Bartley Crescent, Wayville.

    Potential applicants must apply for a Home Support Worker position via the Resthaven website by 1 March 2018.

    They will receive a callback to attend the ‘information and interview day’ if their online application has progressed.

    Recruitment Officer, Jacqui Booth, says, ‘Due to the expansion of our services, we currently have multiple positions available for casual Home Support Workers across metropolitan Adelaide, Gawler, the Fleurieu Peninsula, and Murray Bridge.’

    ‘A wide variety of shifts are available, including weekends, evenings and overnight.’

    ‘Resthaven is a leading South Australian aged care service provider, offering the full range of services, including residential care, respite, community services and retirement living.’

    ‘If you love working with older people and want to be part of a supportive staff team, then we’d like to hear from you.’

    ‘As a Resthaven Home Support Worker, you can make a difference to the lives of older people and their families by supporting them in their own homes to maintain their independence.’

    ‘You will assist with daily living activities relating to their personal wellbeing, and general household tasks. You may also assist them to maintain their connection with their local community.’

    ‘A current driver’s licence and use of a reliable and insured motor vehicle are essential.’
