    Resthaven awarded ‘silver’ in Quality Service Awards

    With the winners of the 2024 Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards announced on 16 November, Resthaven Chief Executive Officer, Darren Birbeck, says, ‘I am delighted that Resthaven has been awarded “silver” for Home Care Services — South Australia and Northern Territory.’

    ‘This award recognises Resthaven as a leading not-for-profit aged care organisation providing home care services in South Australia, based on independent research.’

    Catalyst Research conducted independent market research of ordinary Australian consumers to identify the highest quality service businesses. Businesses were judged in five criteria: personalisation, understanding, simplicity, satisfaction and consistency.

    Reader’s Digest Editor-In-Chief, Louise Waterson, says, ‘The Awards invite everyday people to tell us which companies deserve to be acknowledged for their customer service excellence.’

    ‘It’s clear that customers expect companies to understand their unique needs, and how a customer’s problem is fixed directly influences their future loyalty to that business. Customer service excellence remains a core indicator of a business’s success and longevity in the market.’

    In 2022, Resthaven was Highly Commended in the Residential Aged Care SA category.
