New community services office for Mount Gambier

Exciting times ahead!

‘With continued demand for quality aged care support at home, Resthaven will soon expand our services by adding a new outreach office for community services staff at 15B James Street, Mount Gambier,’ announced Sue McKechnie, Resthaven Executive Manager Community Services.

‘Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services support people throughout the region, from a little support at home to more complex care.’

‘Over the past few years, staff based in Mount Gambier have used an office space in the residential aged care home at 24 Elizabeth Street, Mount Gambier. However, as we are expanding, a dedicated office space is needed,’ Sue explains.

‘The new office will complement our main community service office at Gordon Street, Naracoorte, and our other outreach office in Millicent. These offices will continue to support people in those areas.’

‘We also continue to offer overnight and day respite at our cottage in Naracoorte.’

‘It will be a few months before works to the fit out of the office are complete. At this stage, the plan is that staff will be located in the office within the next two months.’
