Four newly built premium single rooms will be available soon at Resthaven Mount Gambier, following a renovation at the home at 24 Elizabeth Street.

Manager, Belle Kerr, says, ‘The four new rooms are the result of a conversion of two former retirement living apartments, which were part of the original design of the architecturally designed home, built by Resthaven in 2011.’

‘However, demand for retirement living apartments has diminished since then, so we decided to convert them into four large single rooms to cater to increased demand for high quality residential aged care in the community.’

‘The original apartments were very large, so the new rooms are very spacious, with high ceilings and wide doorways.’
