    Resthaven opens doors in Goolwa

In response to continued demand for services for older people across the Fleurieu, Resthaven Murray Bridge, Hills & Fleurieu Community Services opened new outreach office at 1 Loveday Street, Goolwa.

This is the fourth regional office for the booming community services site, which supports older people to remain living independently in their own homes across the Murraylands and Fleurieu Peninsula, through a range on in-home and centre-based wellness services.

This latest expansion is due to the recent handover of the Alexandrina Council home services contract to Resthaven, as of 1 July 2021.

The new office opened doors this week (COVID restrictions in place).resthaven in goolwa building

Resthaven Murray Bridge, Hills & Fleurieu Community Services also operate outreach offices at Port Elliot and Strathalbyn, with their main office located at 37 Swanport Road, Murray Bridge, adjacent to the Resthaven Murray Bridge residential aged care home.

With ever-increasing demand for services, a range of career opportunities are now available for locals across the Murraylands and Fleurieu – check the Resthaven website for current vacancies: www.resthaven.asn.au/careers.

All in all, it’s an exciting time for the region!

Established in 1935, Resthaven is a South Australian not-for-profit aged care community service associated with the Uniting Church in Australia. Every day, Resthaven shares the lives and wisdom of older people and their carers, opening doors to the full range of aged care service options available.
