The family of a Resthaven Port Elliot resident recently contacted Resthaven, to thank staff for the ‘professionalism and care’ of their mother, who passed away in May aged 100.
The family says, ‘Your staff did a great job to help mum celebrate her 100th birthday as much as she could. They all went out of their way to brighten mum up.’
‘Mum was in your care for two and a half years. Over that period, we witnessed firsthand what has to be done in the care of the elderly, quite often in difficult circumstances.’
‘We never doubted the professionalism and level of care given by all of your staff. They always made us welcome and cared for us as well.’
‘The Resthaven experience has, and will remain a big positive part of our lives.’
‘We now regard many of your staff as friends and confidantes.’

Resthaven Port Elliot is just one of Resthaven’s eleven fully accredited residential homes located across South Australia, with a twelfth opening at Aberfoyle Park in July.
Resthaven Community Services supports older people across metropolitan Adelaide, the Hills, Murraylands, Fleurieu and Limestone Coast to live independently in their own homes.
