Community Services office move to Sefton Park attracts attention

Almost 30 years after Resthaven Paradise & Eastern Community Services first opened its doors at 111 Hampstead Road, Manningham, the office will soon relocate to 255 Main North Road, Sefton Park.

The former bank building is currently undergoing refurbishment and fit out to house the new community outreach office.

Manager, Eli Ulbrich, says, ‘I was at Sefton Park this morning, and noticed the big Resthaven sign. This was exciting for all of us to see, including a potential new client!’

‘Whilst I was taking a photo of the sign, an older gentleman at the bus stop came and spoke to me, asking what Resthaven was going to be doing in the building.’

‘He was delighted to hear that we would be running social groups on-site, and providing home care support in the area.’

‘He shared that he could easily catch the bus there, and that it would be much more useful than a bank!’

‘I look forward to meeting more people in the area soon, who can also benefit from our services.’

‘We are keenly watching work on the new fit out and look forward to the larger, more spacious office accommodation.’

The refurbishment is expected to be completed mid-December.
