    Resthaven offers a wide range of flexible services so that you are able to live independently at home.

    Resthaven Murray Mallee Hills Community Services deliver home support, social activities and respite care throughout regional South Australia, with an office located in Murray Bridge.

    Trained Resthaven home support workers deliver services in your home, or at our Community Services locations.

    You may choose to receive support with household tasks, home maintenance, shopping, social activities, keeping healthy, personal care, and nursing care.

    Contact us on 1300 13 66 33 and we’ll facilitate your referral through My Aged Care, or contact My Aged Care directly on 1800 200 422.

    Social

    • Parkinson’s Support group: Join us for a warm, welcoming support group for people living with Parkinson’s and their carers. Gain practical tips for managing symptoms, hear from inspiring guest speakers, connect with others who truly understand, and enjoy a relaxed morning tea together. Support, knowledge, laughter and community — all in one place.
    • Bus trips Adventure: Hop on the bus and join us as we explore exciting destinations, hidden gems, and favourite local spots. From scenic drives to special outings, there’s always something new to discover. Two fun-filled outings each month — great company guaranteed!

    Wellness

    • The Friday club: Fridays just got fabulous! Join us for a lively social group packed with gentle movement, brain-boosting fun, laughter, and connection. From light exercises to engaging games and activities that keep the mind sharp, this is the perfect way to end the week feeling energised and uplifted.
    • Wellness on Wednesday: Wednesdays are for the ladies! A vibrant women’s group featuring chair yoga, gentle exercise, creative arts and crafts, and plenty of laughs. Every second week, enjoy relaxing hot wax hand therapy and soothing massage — pure bliss! With brain-boosting activities and delicious morning or afternoon tea, this is self-care the fun way.

    • Keep active exercise group: Let’s get moving! This upbeat seated exercise class features moderate workouts using the Chi Ball program to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. A fun and supportive way to stay active, boost energy, and keep the body feeling strong.
    • Gentle Moves exercise group: Move at your own pace in this friendly and relaxed seated exercise group. Gentle, easy-to-follow movements designed to keep you flexible, mobile, and smiling — because staying active should feel good!
    • Parkinson’s exercise group: Move with confidence in this supportive and encouraging exercise group designed specifically for people living with Parkinson’s. Gentle movements help manage symptoms, improve mobility, and build strength — all in a safe and welcoming environment.
    • Falls and Balance class: Step steady and stay strong! This practical and engaging class focuses on improving strength, balance, and confidence. Learn helpful strategies to prevent falls while enjoying exercises that keep you stable and steady on your feet.
